VaxiCode Verif is the official application that allows companies to verify proof of vaccination provided by the Québec government. This tool assists in validating the vaccination status of customers by scanning their QR codes. Within the application, the outcome is indicated through a color-coded system (green for valid, red for invalid), signifying the individual's level of protection against COVID-19.

The verification process takes place locally on the device, ensuring data privacy as information is not transmitted over the Internet. VaxiCode Verif follows strict data privacy protocols by not storing any data locally. Verified vaccination records are only displayed for 10 seconds before being automatically erased.

This application does not gather any usage analytics, prioritizing user privacy and confidentiality. It mandates a weekly update to align with the latest vaccine protection directives, with user consent required before each download. Internet communication solely occurs during these update checks, preserving offline functionality.

Access to the device’s camera is necessary for scanning vaccination QR codes, enabling a seamless verification process.
